Problem Note 67400: The QLIM procedure issues "ERROR: Read Access Violation QLIM" when the HECKIT option and OUTPUT statement and BY statement are specified

If the HECKIT option is specified in the PROC QLIM statement, and an OUTPUT statement and a BY statement are also specified, the following messages might be issued in the log:

The parameter estimates that are printed in the output are correct, but the output data set might contain fewer observations than the input data set.
When using SAS/ETS® 15.1 software in SAS® 9.4M6 (TS1M6) and later releases, you can avoid the problem by omitting the BY statement and processing each BY group separately. In releases prior to SAS/ETS 15.1, you can avoid the error by omitting the HECKIT option or by omitting the OUTPUT statement. If you omit the HECKIT option, the sample selection model is estimated using the default maximum likelihood estimation method instead of the Heckman's two-step method.
